Please help me. My ex husband tried to kill me several times many years ago and was very abusive when we were married. He is passed on now, yet I still have flashbacks of these events. I feel like I am a different person now and I have healed a lot, yet I feel strange because at times these events and the fear come to mind. when I think of how I couldn’t get away from him I feel rather cray…It was like he was holding me hostage.
I was afraid he would find me when I finally got away and only felt safe when he died many years after that. We had a daughter together also.
