Hi all.
Mom is staying at the hospital for the 4th time in less than a year. The actions of her equity-holding co-owner daughter led to household mold that grew over the last 4 – 5 years. Our home is remediated, but lots of our stuff is still scattered. Mom hasn't sleep in her bedroom for the past 6 months because the remaining dust affects her breathing.
Daughter refuses to apologize for, accept responsibility for or amend the harm she caused. Leaving our home in such a mess has sabotaged my caregiving efforts. I feel that her intention is to frame me and pressure mom to sell. With mom's heart disease and other health conditions, it's best for her to stay put to avoid the stress of moving and stay close to local care services.
We can't afford to move. She lives on a small retirement income. I'm looking for remote part-time work to restart my career which I had put on hold for her.
I pray to God for a final resolution, which includes 1 of the following:
1) Stopping her abuse and neglect, and restore our home to a proper home environment for
living and caregiving
2) Exposing her guilt and let her deal with the consequences
3) Something else equivalent or better
Much love.
